1. Why should I choose Oorjaa Shopping?

OORJAA is a humble attempt dedicated to creating a unique interpretation of age-old art and crafts of Rajasthan. We partner with artisanal communities, textile designers, independent artists, manufacturers to bring Rajasthan a little closer to the world. Handicraft Items made from natural materials create a healthy and satiating lifestyle. In contrast to industrial mass-produced products, Items sold on Oorjaa Shopping are sustainable handicrafts are absolutely low maintenance and durable.

2. What is your return policy?

Since customer satisfaction takes precedence for us, Oorjaa Shopping offers a 15-day Return Policy wherein orders purchased can be returned within 15 days from date of purchase, if the order delivered is in damaged condition or in case of a wrong shipment.

3. Which items make an exception to or cannot be returned under the 15 day policy?

Oorjaa Shopping does not offer returns and/or exchanges if the customer returns goods for the reason of change of mind. Before you plan to return a product from Oorjaa Shopping, we request you to please spare a minute to understand how our products are crafted. Craft persons handcraft most of our products in different parts of Rajasthan, resulting in each product being exclusive and different. There may be slight color, print and design variation in each piece. But before we ship all our products pass through strong quality control channel. Bespoke items for the client may not be considered for return.

4. How can the returns be processed?

To return your item(s), please inform us within 3 days of receiving your order. Send us an email at [email protected].
However, the shipping charges will be borne by the clients in such cases.

5. If there is any loss or damage during a return shipment, what would be the liability share?

The protection of your products is solely your responsibility and Oorjaa Shopping will not be liable for any loss, theft, or resulting damages whatsoever that may occur, even during the 15 days warranty period. Oorjaa Shopping will not be responsible for loss or damage of returned shipments. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your shipment returned or late delivery or cancellation of your order. We advise that you retain all proof of posting documentation.

6. Who is to bear the return shipping costs?

For returning items the customer will need to bear the costs of shipment.

7. Is Oorjaa Shopping responsible for the package, once it is dispatched from their address?

Upon acceptance of delivery, protection of merchandise becomes the sole responsibility of the customer. Please call us the moment you find any damage to the merchandise.

8. Once the final order has been placed, how long does Oorjaa Shopping takes to deliver the order?

If the order is placed on a regular business day within working hours, it will most likely begin processing that day. And if the order is placed on a holiday or after working hours on a regular business day, it will begin processing the following business day. A tentative delivery time of 5- 7 days will be given along with the formal order on email. The exact delivery date shall be provided as soon as your order is ready to dispatch. However, in some cases, we may take longer, to ship the order as we may have to produce/procure it.

9. Can the order be tracked?

Once the order is confirmed, customer would be provided tracking number of the shipment, which can be tracked at the relevant shipping company.

10. This order is to be a gift for somebody. What are the details and services for this kind of option?

12. What are the various options available to pay online?

We accept payment through Credit cards, Debit cards and through Net banking. You have multiple options of using VISA Card, Master Card, Pay Pal, and American Express card. All Credit/Debit card details remain confidential and private. Our trusted payment gateways protect your card information.

Order cut-off times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization. We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours with the exception of Indian public holidays where it may take up to 72 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. We are not responsible for any delays caused by natural calamities and unavoidable circumstances.

We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched. All orders require a signature and proof of ID upon receipt of order. Currently, each order may be shipped only to a single destination address. If you wish to ship products to different addresses, you shall need to place multiple orders. We make our best efforts to deliver each item in your order within 15 working days of your placing the order, inclusive of processing time.

While we shall endeavour to ship all items in your order together, this may not always be possible due to product characteristics, or availability. In the unlikely event that we are not able to deliver your complete order within 16 working days, you can request us to cancel the remaining unshipped parts of the order. In such cases, your payment against the unshipped part of the order shall be refunded; in the manner you have made the payment.

To ensure that your order reaches you in the fastest time and in good condition, we only ship through reputed courier agencies. While we shall endeavour to ship all items in your order together, this may not always be possible due to product characteristics, or availability. If you believe that the packaging is tampered with or damaged, before accepting delivery of the goods, please refuse to take delivery of the package, and call our help desk or email us at [email protected] mentioning your order reference number. We shall try our best to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest.
